Autodesk has announced which 2010 software is officially supported on Windows 7. The press release can be found here.
Update:
There seems to be an issue with Excel not registering correctly in the registry, so Inventor will give an error message. The Autodesk Inventor forum thread can be found here, here. I have also attached a copy of the registry repair script below.
